Music

St. John's offers a comprehensive music program for all ages.  Three vocal choirs present special music at all services September - May.  Small groups and individuals are encouraged to provide vocal and instrumental music during the summer months and at all special services.  Three handbell choirs perform throughout the year at various church and community functions.  6th and 7th grade youth are invited to join the Junior Bell Choir where they are introduced to techniques and music for handbells and chimes.  8th through 12th grade students belong to the Youth Bell Choir. This group develops skills using the instruments and plays more difficult music.  The Adult Bell Choir performs the most difficult music and is known as one of the premier bell choirs in the region.  Organist and Director of Music, James H. Bieber, studied at Eastman School of Music and guides the entire music program.  Come and listen or join the musicians as they give praise and glory to God through their music.
